Two handy ways to backup your clip effects
Backup your effects to your active sequence using adjustment layers or an external file.

Using 'track mode, you can save effects to your active sequence with adjustment layers, enabling quick adjustability and improved reviewability of your effect backups.

Use 'file mode' to save and restore backups using an external file for improved exchangeability, opacity support and no extra clutter on your timeline.

Control what effects get transferred
Choose what effects get restored onto the final project using the 'exclude effect' panel. This enables instant removal of superfluous items for your final render.
The extract panel can copy effects from your active timeline to a file or an adjustment layers.  
Restore effects to your active timeline using the file made on the extract page using 'file mode.'
What effects are supported?
- Motion-settings (position, scale, rotation etc.).
- Other video effects from the effects-panel.
Limitations.
- Transitions and audio effects are not supported.
- Opacity and Warp Stabiliser are not supported in 'track mode.'
